Foundry Street Garage is one of the most affordable parking options in Portsmouth. While it is a little bit of a walk from downtown, it only takes about five to ten minutes depending on where you are headed. I actually enjoy it because walking around Portsmouth feels like part of the experience. If you are not handicapped and do not mind a little movement before or after a meal, this is the perfect place to park. There is almost always parking available and it works well both for a quick lunch during the day and for dinner at night. It is also a great long term option if you are planning to stay all day. Another nice perk is that the garage has a bathroom available for use.

Reading a few of the reviews, I wished I parked here and just walked than pay the high parking 🅿️ meter cost of the street. I am very impressed with the architecture, 🎨 artwork and photography displayed along the side. Nice sidewalks on the road next to it. I see 🙈 staff working inside. I noticed security cameras. There is a display commemorating the railroad industry next door. A turnaround for 🚗 cars is at one of the entrances. A playground is next to the garage. I remember seeing Dunn, Portsmouth's poet laureate at a comic book 📚 shoppe that was on State Street about two decades ago and at the flea market in Newington on the occasional Sundays. Seeing his photo and the Albacore brought back memories I was surprised I still had. This is the best looking parking 🅿️ garage I have ever seen

Great place to park, simple and easy. Let alone $1 per hour! Cool view of the bridge on the higher floors too!

I will only park in this garage for all future times I come to Portsmouth. There was barely anyone in it on a Sunday in June. $1 an hour is a great rate and so close to downtown. It was clean and they even had a restroom.
