Frist Center Parking Lot

It's a great place to park when visiting the museum!! So convenient!

I am a member and this is the second time in 2 months that I overpaid for parking. Grrrrrr….The kiosk/scanner for exiting should voice command “If you received a voucher for parking please scan it now” before starting the process because if you are exiting and slide the parking stub FIRST then your credit card there is NO opportunity to go back and scan the voucher discounting the parking fee. So it was $24.00 x 2 that The Frist Museum collected without allowing me to use my parking voucher. Grrrrrrr.

As a Frist family fan. Nashville is in my opinion now competes with with the top major metropolitan cities in this country. As for the Art museum this was a huge disappointment I expected much more out of Nashville. Everything else in Nashville has been great but Nashville please do better and stop trying to be woke. It’s an art museum put actual art in that has some class. DO BETTER , you are better!

This is the parking lot for the art museum! If you visit the museum, the ticket booth will also give you a parking voucher that you scan at the pay booth to decrease the rate to about $2/hr (as of Feb 2023), which is plenty reasonable for downtown parking. In response to some of the other reviews: It only charges $10/hr if you are not going to the museum (and it is clearly marked as such). There are obviously better parking options if you're visiting honky tonks and such.

The area/parking is great, but the automated meter at the exit wouldn't let us pass until we paid $30. The fee for the 21/2 hours we were there was $6. So, we were overcharged $24.
