From The Ground Up

I would highly recommend From the Ground Up. The rebuild our deck to accommodate our new hot tub. Trey was awesome and coordinated with the electrician and Van Dorn Pools and Spas. He listened to what we wanted and made sure that we got the results we wanted.Andy was excellent building the deck and always made sure things were right. Everything was left spotless. Our deck and hot tub are wonderful. We're so pleased that we're going to have them back to do some additional work around the house.

We used From the Ground Up for a new, larger patio this summer. It's beautiful and now we actually have space to sit at a table and eat on our patio! But my favorite project that he did for us was replacing our porch posts with rough hewn pine posts. It looks amazing! I still pull up to the house each night and love the way it now looks. And we have had several neighbors ask us who did our porch posts!

We can not say enough about Trey and all the workers involved with From the Ground Up. They worked seamlessly with other contractors that we had working on other areas of our home and did beautiful work on landscaping, hardscaping, and building our deck. Trey returned several times over several months to not only check on progress but also to assure all the work was in line with the quality he expects. We were having drainage problems with our lawn around the foundation of our home. Trey and his team did some regrading and rerouted our rain spouts away from the house. They were very professional, friendly, and clear with their plan. They also cleaned up well. We will consider FTGU for future work.

We started down the path of redoing our large patio (around 1,100 sq ft) by meeting with several companies and contractors The project seemed to just keep getting larger and larger, but when we met with Trey from "From the Ground Up" he really listened to what we were trying to achieve from an aesthetic as well as budgetary point of view. Trey helped us with the design aspects and was extremely flexible when we made adjustments along the way. He was also able to complete a few projects that were in addition to the patio for us. We ran into some rot needing carpentry work on our screened porch which they repaired as well as a drainage issue that they were able to engineer a fix for.
