Travis who gave us our quote was extremely helpful and professional, our movers were professional but we did have a couple furniture pieces broke and we did pay for the full value insurance, we were told by the movers Judith would be getting a hold of us with the form for replacement which we waited a few days for and never received, we called and were told by her she would email the form which she didn’t do, after another call we got it and filled it out immediately and sent it, we received another email informing us it had been more than 10 days and we were out of luck, we didn’t get the form until after the 10 days, this company is very unprofessional in how they do business and I feel like we were taken advantage of, I would never refer anyone to use this company!!!

Awful communication and service even when my parents were supposed to get VIP service from an upper executive of Fry-Wagner. Fry-Wagner packed the house into one truck and called my parents two days later saying they split it into two trucks -- no notice of the possibility of this action was ever given. The delivery window to the new house was June 8-11. When Fry-Wagner called and told my parents about the splitting of their belongings, they indicated the second truck was no longer guaranteed to be within the original delivery window. What about THAT makes sense?! Nothing. Fry-Wagner assured them that what they deemed as "essentials" would be on the first delivery. Do not hire Fry Wagner United van lines. They did not live up to their contract that unpacking boxes and then removing boxes and paper was included in the paid price.

I moved from southern Illinois to Chicago and had a good experience! Travis did an estimate for both a pack and a move and Fry-Wagner stayed within the estimate. Judith communicated with me through every step of the process. The teams for packing, loading, and unloading were all very helpful. One of the best things were that they would check with me regarding where things were going in the new house, as it had a different number of rooms than the old place. Now I’m unpacking my stuff and happy to be home!
