Furnace Doctor NY

I cannot say enough good things about the Furnace Doctor! I just had Joe out to service my furnace as it had stopped working/was producing a burning smell in the middle of the night. Joe was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and resolve it all in one visit. I just purchased my house so this is my first winter here and it turns out my propane pressure level coming into the house was dangerously high, in turn tripping a switch in the furnace. This could’ve had a way worse outcome had Joe and his partner not been here so quickly to diagnose the issue and resolve it! Not to mention that their prices are incredibly reasonable!! I would recommend the Furnace Doctor for any HVAC needs!

Terrible company. I made an appt for furnace cleaning, inspection and to have them change the filter. I told him I did not know the filter model but told him the manufacturer of the furnace. He arrived but did not bring a filter. Spent only 10 minutes. Did not vacuum anything. Charged me $165.00. I had to order the filter and had trouble installing it, as it was an accordion type. Called him to come back out. He said he would, but never called me back.

Prompt, kind, knowledgeable, answered all my questions in terms I could understand, not in a hurry, assured and reassured me that everything was fine with my Furnance! Their price was MUCH LESS than I expected! Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Matt and Bill!

Called the other day for service and the man on the other end of the phone seemed less than pleased that I was calling to give him business. When told him I needed someone to come look at my furnace cause my heat isn’t working he responded with “ugh well I have 17 trucks to fix and 73 texts messages to respond to but I guess I can come out there” — Needless to say, I never sent my info over. Your own problems in your business are not my issue. If you’re unable to help then just say sorry I’m not available. The entire conversation was very unprofessional. I am so impressed with the Furnace Doctor. Keith was very responsive to all my questions and his team did a great job at installing my heat pump. They had some issues, however they never gave up on finding the problem. We all have several choices when looking for a good contractor, but I would not hesitate to hire Keith and his team again. Great work, fair pricing and wonderful support.
