F.W. Webb Company - Manhattan

The waiting time on this place is insane. Today like 20 people making line. We have to wait for the guys to eat their chips, be on their phones or just making stupid jokes in the back. So the guy on the right always fighting with the printer, cmon fwebb we need better service since we in the city on emergency calls. Today I waited for 55 minutes.

Went in and they brought me the parts I needed quickly. I should note, I checked other well known places in the city and had time wasted trying to do a work around because they didn’t have the parts. This is now my Goto place for any plumbing needs!

These people are very nice and got my p trap and processed my payment in literally 5 minutes flat and even gave me a steep discount. I don't understand the negative reviews, I will be coming here for all my plumbing needs because finding a good plumbing store like this is hard in Manhattan, I've tried other spots.

My man Luis Collado helped me out with the very specific fittings I needed to plumb a gas tank for a laboratory after people at so many other places refused to take me seriously. Going to him and FW Webb first from now on, don’t waste your time elsewhere! And thanks Luis for your help.

Good selection, but very pricey. For some very common parts, I find online prices to be a third of the cost. The fellows at the counter can be very helpful, but certain ones come across as arrogant and rude, wielding the power to let you wait until their majesty deems it fit to speak to the peasant folk. Especially if you're not in their special high school clique of "cool pipe people". It's a huge turn off I've run into this several times. I'm not welcome as a patron, I'll go elsewhere. Unfortunate, because I like going to brick and mortar stores.
