Gabino’s concrete LLC

Had them do a patio. Worst job. Took months to get them out to start the job. So many flaws and blemishes in the concrete from a poor job of troweling. Uneven. Left huge globs of concrete at the base. Cracked within 2 weeks. Did not clean up around sewer hole. Started job late afternoon to lay 770ft of concrete had to finish in the dark! Poor planning!! Now I’m left with a tacky looking patio! Looks like an amateur did it. Called multiple times about issues. He finally returned my call and stated just needs more time to cure. Baloney! Patio gets direct Sun, no shade. After 28 days should be cured! He stated it needs 45 days! Still no improvement. He suggested sealing and staining. I don’t want shiny concrete so no resolution to the problem. Would never recommend using him.

Gabino and his crew were professional, on time, cleaned up afterwards and did beautiful work. Gabino came regularly to check the work and answer questions. Gabino helped me to choose products and colors. He was very helpful and responsive. I wanted a retaining wall and framed concrete to match. It’s beautiful.

I've never written a review before on any products or services but the work they did is so worth the time to write a review! We needed the sidewalks and stairs in out front yard replaced. We found an ad in the Sunday paper for Gabino's Concrete and before we called we read the reviews on Yelp and Google and verified his contractors license and insurance. From the first time I called him till the end of the job Gabino always returned our calls/texts and he and his crew always showed up when they said they were going to. Gabino and his crew were very professional, hard working, courteous and very responsive to our requests. They did a great job and we highly recommend them!

Gabino and his guys built a large cinderblock wall for me as well as demolishing and replacing several slabs on the property and pouring and finishing a new landing for my back porch. Work was completed exactly as expected, quickly, and at a price far below the other quotes I received. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for concrete work in the San Diego area. Thanks again guys!
