Galante Construction

We contracted with Galante Construction to remodel our upstairs bathroom, including addition of a laundry area, and remodel our kitchen completely, including removal of an interior wall. The project was a complete disaster. The project started in March and was to be complete by the end of June in time for our son's graduation party. The plan was to start with the upstairs bathroom work and then proceed to the kitchen. The upstairs work was to take 3-4 weeks and downstairs 6 weeks. In order to have easier access for new water and electrical lines the kitchen was demolished during the first few weeks of working on the bathroom, leaving us without an usable kitchen or eating area, which we understood and accepted. Despite the not so great reviews from previous clients, several of our friends, including one I went to college with recommended Galante Construction. We were very happy with the quality of work and professionalism of Charlie and the crew once they were on site. Galante is a small family run business...does not have a fancy answering service or a fleet of custom wrapped service vehicles. Folks have to understand that when contacting the business...there may be a few day delays in getting back to you...because they are so busy. His prices are fair, and when he was not able to make it to the house...he apologized and gave me a discount on the work. After adding an addition on to my daughter's home we thought everything was great!! Little did we know that less than 5 yrs. later the roof is leaking, causing water to drip inside the walls near electrical outlets. We had to cut the power because water is dripping out of the outlet. Galante came out to inspect the area and said he would get back to my daughter. We are still waiting for that call! Many calls have gone unanswered and may have to move to the next step......court! Not happy at all!

Galante Construction does a wonderful job. We've had them add a mother in law addition which is beautiful. They've remodeled our bathroom so a disabled person could use it and it looks fantastic too.

They did great tile work on our bathroom & kitchen. Great people to work with.
