Gallagher Parking Ramp - Buffalo Civic Auto Ramps

Window busted out three times over the course of 4 months. Each time my window was broken, every car in the garage had busted out windows. Not monitored No surveillance Sad!

The ramp is lit 24/7, has security cameras, and they are working on improving and repairing the infrastructure. That said, there have been a rash of break-ins, vandalism, and attempted auto theft at the location. The fact that it is not manned or patrolled daily makes it an attractive target for thieves. It’s off the street, out of the way, with minimal foot traffic. A perfect location for them to practice their trade. Which is unfortunate, because this neighborhood desperately could use the parking . TLDR: short term parking, you’ll probably be fine, especially during the day. However, if your vehicle is here long term, especially in the summer months, it WILL be broken into. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when.

Gate was open and the ticket machine would not give me a ticket when I entered. I should have known to be weary - lesson learned. When I eventually left, I had to pay double the daily rate for a "lost ticket fee". Their phone rep would not help.

This place should be fixed up and used given how bad parking is on Elmwood. They don't man it, and it's so broken down and dark you feel like your car is going to get broken into if you leave it there.
