Garage Parking Lot, Kansas City International Airport

I used the parking garage at 7:45 am the Wednesday before thanksgiving. I hit the button to print a ticket and it didn't give me a ticket but the gate opened. When I left the day after thanksgiving I was charged an extra $8.00 due to a lost ticket. I explained this to the ticket attendant and she said I should have done ticketless or backed up and tried another lane. Wow, that is great customer service making your customers pay for a machine malfunction and then not correcting it when you are made aware of the situation. Beware!!

Laura S might be the most rude and unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered in customer service. She was mean and insulting. Didn’t think a garage checkout person could leave such a bad impression, but wow she was incredibly rude during the short transaction.

Clean well lit. Always have good luck finding a parking spot near the terminal.

Feb. 27th, 2025 there was ample parking on ground level! Returning Monday March 3rd to pick up my grandson, parking sucked!! Level 6 had a "few spaces" left to park in. Maybe if KCI airport authority recv'd enough complaints upper management might consider building a much larger parking garage then what they currently have??

Just an awful design for a parking garage. Why must I enter Level 3, 4, etc if I know there are no vacant spots on those levels. Hope the same engineer is not in charge of designing the new one. Only good thing about it is the vacancy lights, so I’ll give it 2 stars instead of 1. Having worked in hospitals and airports over the past 20 years, I can say this is the most poorly designed I’ve seen.
