Garden Valley Feed And Hardware

We come here to get hay, and live stock food, and baby chicks and bird seed. Clean store with helpful staff. They have propane, chick start, hummingbird feeders, oyster shell, home decor and lots of hardware store type things like electrical and plumbing, gardening tools and other tools and materials. We've always had good luck with the chicks we buy here. They are well taken care of and good stock.

Sad to say, today was my last time patronizing this establishment. Have been a customer off and on, (had done moves from and returns to the area), for almost a decade. And in a prior Yelp review I praised their customer service. A true example of how bad management can change a culture. A fall from grace. They used to be so wonderful, now can't be bothered to assist customers. Uneducated in equine feed, uninformed about the products they sell and uninterested in being better. Will sell you a grain based sweet feed when you ask for alfalfa meal. And management will argue with you instead of listen to feedback

I love this place, the employees are always helpful, and the prices are still affordable. Keep it up guys!!!

Great basic hardware store when you need a couple things to fix a leak. Good selection of lumber and also alfalfa and other feed items. Super friendly and helpful staff. Even local eggs at times.
