Gargoyle Granite & Marble

Gargoyle is the best. I just replaced 3 vanities, and undermount sinks, and backsplash. I was in commercial construction for 38 years and Gargoyle has a great process from choosing the right product, detailed measuring, fabrication, and installation. Was referred to Gargoyle by our contractor. Overall, two primary issues took away from what was otherwise good service. Really, three issues, the third being their inability to even slightly make good on the actual quality issues. The project was for a floating vanity countertop (a seven inches above a custom floating cabinet) in our newly remodeled master bath/bedroom. The floating cabinet under the countertop was a custom (>$5k) piece that had to be installed prior to the counter given the space layout. The brackets to hold the countertop above the cabinet were already installed, in addition to the countertop wood form that rested on the brackets. What started out as a bad experience ended with a renewed respect for Gargoyle Granite. I ordered two ‘matched’ slabs from Gargoyle for my kitchen. The first one was delivered and installed; it was beautiful. Weeks later the other slab was installed and I knew it wasn’t the one I had chosen; it didn’t match my other slab, was a different finish and a different shade. I was very unhappy and my design/contractor team led me to believe that Gargoyle must have mis-cut the slab I had chosen and replaced it with another slab. I wrote a review of Gargoyle, stating how unprofessional I thought that was. Immediately I received a call from Gargoyle wanting to know what had happened. We were recommended Gargoyle Granite by an individual that did some independent work for us and now works for them. Our experience went very smoothly and everyone that we dealt with was very professional and understanding. We changed our minds multiple times on size, backsplash, sink, and many other things for our laundry room and they were amenable and courteous with all of our changes. Picking a remnant slab to use went very smoothly, going out to their yard and going through all the slabs was a simple process and we spent a good deal of time with the knowledgable sales associate and we felt very taken care of.
