Gary and his team were such a blessing for my family. The removed a huge oak tree from my home which was becoming a safety issue. His whole entire team was professional and friendly. Gary cut and removed around 8 trees on my property, including a giant ~100' poplar and a still very large sugar maple . When possible, he dropped trees from the start to keep the cost down for me, though he had to climb and section some when necessary. When he did drop trees, they fell exactly where he wanted them to. Gary also trimmed a few branches (some very sizeable) overhanging my roof. He climbed up some very tall trees to attach ropes before climbing up the limbs to section them and swing the parts down, avoiding the roof underneath. He has good prices, especially if you're willing and able to haul and cut up the trees once they are downed. He'll tell you the prices per tree and he sticks by what he says. He seems like a trust worthy person and I would (and have) recommend his

Gary and his team did a great job trimming the numerous trees reaching over my home, fence, and cable lines. Gary was very responsive and accessible throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!

Gary’s tree service was excellent. When I called him he called back within 2 hours. Kept to his appointment time to come view the tree and gave estimate. He then again committed to a scheduled date, and was at my home at 8am. Gary and team were very professional, respectful of your property and clean up extremely well. Lastly, his price was below average, which helped in these economic hard time. I would recommend Gary’s tree service to anyone.

We have used Gary's tree service on numerous occasions on our wooded 2 acre lot. Gary gives a fair quote, does the job that is promised and shows up with his team and works until the job is completed. We used several other tree services at Smith Mountain Lake over the past 30 years but no one has been as conscientious and fair priced as Gary. We would highly recommend Gary's Tree Service!
