Gateway Garage (Propark)

Prices are not well posted and are high, the true price can only be seen on the way out of the garage. Gate credit card reader was broken; help button and support phone number were both dead lines. Just happened to try pulling on the reader a bit and that lined it up so that a card could be inserted, no tap or cash option, only one exit with one reader. Would have been stuck. Clearly capitalizing on overflow from the free T stop parking across the street with shady practices and poor maintenance.

Pros: - Monthly parking pass comes quickly if you are a resident of Gateway. - Fast Customer Service - Adequate spaces to park - Quick access to apartment if you are a gateway resident Cons: - Gate sometimes does not work leading to passback errors, service was quick for this (waited only a couple of minutes). - Lots of pillars in random places making the garage itself hard to navigate, I have a small sedan and still had trouble turning into a couple of parking spots. - surprise one time $30 "activation fee" for monthly card holders. Not a fan of this. Overall: 2.5 stars, I rounded down to two stars because the $158/month price is steep. This is the best parking location for Gateway residents. If you are not a gateway resident I would look around for other places first, then come back

Terrible service, I paid for three days, the second day I left and when I came back in an error appeared and they wouldn't let me into the parking lot. I called customer service and they told me to take a ticket, then the next day when I went to leave I couldn't leave unless I paid what was on that ticket that I took the day before. After about half an hour locked in, they finally let me out because they wanted me to pay again for the service that I had already paid for. So I lost a day of parking, terrible service provided.

We are monthly customers, and get stuck in the garage even if our monthly pass is paid for. Customer service is bad, every time we present the receipt number, the person on the line keeps saying that the number is wrong and hanging up on us. On top of that, we have to deal with the people behind us beeping and cursing for us to leave the garage. This itself has been inconvenient enough to deal with, but it has also caused other issues for us in our routines.

Really 0 stars! NOT for people that don't want to get locked in or locked out by the constantly malfunctioning gates. It's even nicer when you get locked in/out and the remote staff don't answer the buzzer/ phone or 'voice mailbox is full' while people pile up and lay on the horn behind you while you're trapped. NOT for monthly parkers! Unless you like adaptive pricing- rates increase month to month now up to over $150 with no end in sight. NOT for people that aren't suckers- you only get "indoor parking" if there are spots available in the basement or 1st floor. NOT for people that expect to pay and have a spot to park- they don't count the spots accurately so often you'll be let in but not have anywhere to park, or if you're a monthly parker better not move your car during the day or y
