DO NOT Buy American Standard Air Conditioners – We’re Done After 20+ Years We’ve proudly sold and installed American Standard air conditioners for over 20 years — but after our most recent experience, we can no longer recommend this brand to anyone. Less than a month ago, we installed a brand-new American Standard condenser that arrived without refrigerant (Freon) — something we only discovered after the unit was already installed. This is a major failure that should never happen with any reputable manufacturer. We immediately contacted Gemaire, our supplier, who tried to warranty the part. Just showed up today for the first time.. Seems alright so far.. Just another day of AC service.. Staff simi friendly but depends on which staff member you encounter...

I have been going to gemaire for over 25 years. I have had the worse experience ever there. I had a warranty to complete. I normally complete on line to avoid the charges. I had the customer last name mixed up the girl said fill the normal paperwork then tried to charge me the $50. I told her that’s not happen I need her to check the name so o could finish the warranty. She got up went to the counter main guy. Then he gave me attitude as well. I was in the process of calling my salesman when she gave me the name. I completed it on line told her it was done. Headed for the bathroom she yelled to the main counter guy he’s leaving. I turn back and stated I’m going to the bathroom. So I walked back to her to get the completed paperwork. She then got up walked away I then saw her walk out side

Over the counter service is good... besides that save yourself the headache and just go to tamarac or another supply house.. Not sure why they post number's for afterhours if they never answer the phone nor reply to txt messages. Great people work there and i've been doing business for many years with them but in the last year or so they gave up and let it go

The service inside was prompt and courteous. Outside at the distribution area, however, needs improvement. I stood there for more than 5 minutes with several guys standing around and not even one acknowledged my presence to even let me know that someone would be right with me. When it was time to unload the 12 big products from my car, not one of the men assisted me, but rather commented on how they didn't know how I was able to fit them all in my car. You'd think that with all the men working there, one would've offered to help a lady unload her car. Warehouse customer service gets a thumbs down from me. Thankfully, I don't plan to ever have to purchase from there again.
