We greatly appreciate the expertise of the folks who work on the parts supply side of the business. We recently had an emergency plumbing issue and were able to save hundreds of dollars by fixing it ourselves using parts we purchased at the store vs using a plumber. My husband had a great experience when he talked to the people at the parts counter. Sadly, I didn't have the same experience on the design side of the house. It's really too bad because I was ready to spend the money we'd saved on parts and labor a new bath or shower fixture. The person sitting at the design desk begrudgingly answered my questions so I left without spending anything.

I went in here yesterday and it felt like talking with my dad and uncles. They were super knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They had what I needed and also answered all my questions while also having a conversation. They even offered to recycle my old shower peice! Highly recommend! Till next time! Christmas eve, your kitchen sink head is clogged, you disassemble it, work out all the calcification carefully, still won't go off of spray everywhere mode. Your entire family is coming over tomorrow. You panic. You go to Home Depot, nothing that fits, Lowes, nothing. You go to George Morlan. Everyone is in Santa hats and cheerful! "We don't have one in stock on the shelves, but we just had a return, hold on". Dude re-appears from the back, sink head in hand. Not the same finish, but like new and good enough to get you through Christmas! "How much do I owe you?" you ask, knowing it will be reasonable but ready to trade your first born. "Nothing, Merry Christmas!" he says with a smile. THAT is how you earn a customer for life and continue to be a landmark business in Portland!!

Great plumbing retail store, " The water heater king". It was time to get some parts to fix problem with my water heater. No issues, got all that was needed and quickly.

Very smart and good guys who know their business. The manager and the salesperson really helped us with our boiler. I highly recommend this store.
