George The Chimney Guy

I got 3 estimates and Conor was honest. Told me what was needed didn’t try to sell anything more and was the only one to get on the roof with snow and ice and take pictures to show me. Work was done efficiently and very clean 100% would recommend this company

This is my first experience with George the Chimney Guy. Scheduling was easy with Sheree as she was very polite, professional and responsive. I was informed the technician would be contacting me in advance of his arrival which he did and he arrived within the scheduled window of time. When Conor arrived, he inspected the chimney and proceeded to get his supplies for a cleaning. He was polite, respectful and knowledgeable sharing some maintenance tips and a suggestion on improving the efficiency of my wood burning fireplace. He took care to keep my living space clean and there were no surprise fees as I've experienced with other companies. I plan to be a repeat customer.

They called to tell me that pulling off the face plate on the wood burning stove insert was too unreasonable. My Wood burning stove insert calls that standard as part of the cleaning anually with the chimney liner. This place is amazing. The guy who came wanted to do it for 400 more on his own time outside of the company probably so he could make money without going through the chimney guy. What is sad about the comments back from this place is that they were told it was a wood burning stove insert. Not a fireplace. The fact that they then lie about it only proves this is not the place you want to do business. My recommendation is to go somewhere else to get this kind of work done. When I first reached out for a chimney inspection I asked for a level 2 inspection and after briefly looking at the listing George told me that just a level 1 should suffice. This just shows what kind of guy he is, he's not going to oversell you or pull any BS. Just an absolute professional. Would highly recommend.

George was quick to reply to my request for estimate and appointment was scheduled within days. His tech came out, assessed the situation, and reported that no work was necessary. I appreciate the honesty!
