German Fencing Academy

My daughter has been fencing at this studio for two years, and I’m so impressed with how much she’s grown. The coaches truly care, paying attention to every detail and making sure the fundamentals are solid so the kids have a strong foundation to build on. The studio is clean, well-equipped, and welcoming, with brand-new strips on a real professional fencing floor. Classes are well structured, and the atmosphere is positive—focusing on character growth and skills over just winning. The other kids are kind, and the staff is knowledgeable about gear, offering good-quality equipment, including high-level swords. They’re constantly making thoughtful improvements as they grow and adapt to members’ needs.

German Fencing Academy is a great representation of professionalism in the sport. Tournaments are always hosted in a way that they very closely mirror the competition seen at a regional and national level! The club is loaded with grounded strips and is arranged in a way to support several bouts at once.

A beautiful fencing studio right in Tucson! They offer beginner fencing camps in summer, spring and throughout the year! Arizona's only fencing gear store and studio all in one! Located inside the Tucson Mall.

I was able to stop by here during my last visit home and it was pretty impressive. Beautiful fencing studio with grounded strips and an athletic floor to practice on. Coach Jens leads lessons in a very structured approach that you don't often come across on this side of the Atlantic. :)

Amazing studio with a great coach and wife team. Tucson needed a group like this! Encouraging girls to participate in a sport that seems to attract mostly boys. Highly recommended.
