Gervais Heating and Air

When I contacted this company I asked if they would be willing to work with a warranty company. They said yes. My warranty company speaks with the technician before the work is approved. If they approve what he says, I pay up front and they reimburse me after submitting an itemized invoice. They spoke with him, they approved the work, I paid for 2 lb of freon and maintenance. A whopping total of $450. However, this company will not provide me with an invoice. So I cannot get reimbursed. I would not be so upset if the problem was fixed but I still have the same problem, I have no idea if he even put Freon in the unit, but I do know that the unit was not cleaned, because I did not watch him due to an Achilles injury, I can only go by what he says he did. Between the cold period and the beginning of summer we have spores coming from the trees and polluting the air. So I contacted Gervais Heating and Aire to install an air cleaner system with UV light. To obtain better air quality in my home and I am completely satisfied.

Called late in the day, said they'd be there in a couple hours and showed up about 45 minutes later. Assessed the issue, repaired the issue all within a couple hours. Adrian was super nice and knowledgeable. Great experience and would be happy to recommend them! Found their fees reasonable.

Beware. This company charges a $100 service charge even if you choose to proceed with the work and pay them to complete a job. Have never seen such from any other service company

The owner of this company is a rare find. I lost my A/C on Saturday evening and suffered through a hellish night with my inside temperature climbing to near 90 degrees. My sister is elderly and I am no spring chicken being treated very serious medical conditions. Of all the companies in the Midlands that supposedly provide 24/7 service, he is the only one who doesn't send your call to an answering service overseas. He came out in less than 1 hour on a Sunday morning, went straight to his work, told me my 17 year old needs replacing but not having that type of $$ he got it going in less than 25 minutes. I hope it last until we can do better, but he deserves recognition for his true Carolina spirit of being a helper and not giving you the runaround. God bless him. ✝️
