I called around 4 pm informing GillAir that my AC was broken and expecting them to get back to me later in the week I surprisingly met the technicians SAME DAY. They replaced some faulty parts on my AC unit and even cleaned it and gave me a new air filter. I am impressed with the professionalism and knowledge the technicians had I could tell they had years of experience. I am hands down going with them for any future cooling and heating concerns. "I don't want to write a one-star review but unfortunately, it seems that's what this company deserves. The installation work was shoddy and poorly done. We started having problems right from the start of the installation process. Four months later, we discovered that the condensation pipe had not been connected, which caused water to back up onto our floors. We had no choice but to replace the entire floor and do some renovation work. Now, after a year, we're having issues again. We noticed water building up on the plate, so we called in another HVAC technician. He found out that the basic installation work, like putting the U-shaped pipe, had not been done. This person was paid for over $1000 worth of work and as soon we closed on the house we began having problems with the unit. I contacted Gil and the 1st thing he said was check the filters. Indeed the filters were old and filthy and causing an issue, however its listed on the invoice he provided that they had been replaced. We also needed a contactor which should have been discovered and repaired with this his initial diagnostic and repair. This ended up costing us a ton of money.

Gill is fantastic. He bought our AC back from the dead over 9 years ago "not certain it would hold" and it worked until the whole system died 9 long years later!! That's honest!! He could have overcharged us then and done expensive repairs and/or replacements but his quick fix that he wasn't sure would hold fixed the problem for nearly a decade. Gill came back this to replace our old HVAC system this year when our heat went out. It was done quickly and very competently at a fair price. My husband and I highly recommend Gill and wouldn't use anyone else.
