Gill-Roy's Hardware/ Propane Filling

Gil Roy's Helpful staff the three employees who were working the day Icame in were patient and between the three of them they came up with many solutions to help me fix my problem. At a reasonable price and was more custom and helpful then going to a big box hardware store. Thx Guys , your help made my plumbing installation much less if a hassle.

I go to Gill-Roy’s Hardware all the time when I don’t feel like driving all the way to Home Depot. The store is well-stocked and convenient, and I especially love that they carry Jonathan Green’s grass seed and fertilizers. That said, the biggest issue is the staff. Most of the workers are young high school kids who clearly do not have much experience. It is not just that they are new, it often feels like they have had no training at all. They rarely know the layout of the store, what is in stock, or even what certain items are used for. The selection is great, but it is frustrating when no one can help you find what you are looking for or confirm if they even carry it. If they focused more on training or brought in a few experienced employees, this place would be an easy five stars.

Searched online for electric tester found 2 pack 12 bucks at GillRoys..not available in store guy says. I paid 30 bucks for what they sell online for 12. Not Happy bout that. I would NOT recommend Bay City GillRoys! Price gouging at it's finest.

Great neighborhood shop! The guys working here are very helpful. I've gotten good advice and recommendations from them, which is great when I'm tackling a small project on my own. Kind of pricey but worth the higher cost too not have to drive all the way across town to a place like Menards. I prefer to support local, so I try to go here when I can.
