Being reported to osha as we speak this backwoods company has no business doing any work for anyone. One of the drivers this morning dented my hood right in the crease with a golf ball size rock and the OWNER didn’t even have the decency to help pay for the damages. Gilliams drivers have been known to drive recklessly through Waco for years. The particular driver that threw the rock was driving around 70mph on old china spring hwy (a 40mph zone). But it was “road hazard” how was it my fault they are driving recklessly and have been known to not strap loads. I try not to make a big deal out of it considering the dent is small but it’s still a dent on MY TRUCK THAT I PAY FOR WITH MY OWN MONEY. I was passing a Gilliam Contracting gravel truck on the highway, meaning, he was oncoming towards me. Right as we passed a huge rock huts the top of my windshield and cuts my hand and starts bleeding. In shock, I turn around and follow the truck. I see rocks spilling out of the back of the truck. I tracked him down and he said I needed to call the company. I called Gilliam Contracting and they refused to even listen. They obviously are careless, unprofessional, and backwoods. They don’t even have a website. Use someone who cares, not Gilliam Contracting.

Gilliam Contracting do not do work that meet the standards of the state and city. They did a job for us, encouraged us to not follow state guidelines and when the state came to us demanding we fix it, Gilliam wouldn't fix it, costing us double of what we would have paid had it been done right by a more honest contractor. I would not follow their advice as it is not ethical, we trusted them and paid dearly. Use someone else and you will be much happier that a job is done well.

How hard is it to do your job and to pull your tarp back that way you don’t damage other peoples windshield/paint?

Great service and dependable people. We have used them on several construction projects and they always deliver, even with short notice. Would have given 5 stars but the company needs to take a look at it's driver training and make sure their trucks are being operated safely on our highways.
