Giovani Appliance Repair

Hired them thru Thumbtack. They charged me $500 to replace a motor assembly (technician Alexander) for my Samsung refrigerator. They told me it had a 60 day warranty for parts and labor (as stated on invoice). 25 days later the same issue came up. I called back and they said they would contact the technician to see when he could go back? Called 3 times and nobody ever called me. Once they have your business they don’t care to call back. Guess they figure warranty call backs don’t pay bills. No customer service.

He explained the problem clearly, fixed it quickly, and even gave me tips to prevent future issues. The pricing was fair, and there were no hidden fees. GOUGES CUSTOMERS! Despite me calling and contracting with "HighTech Appliance Repair", a guy was sent out from "Giovani Appliance Repair", and I now understand why. If I had read the reviews of "Giovani Appliance Repair" I never would have used them. 'Technician' came out and spent a total of 5 min at my home. I told them over the phone the lid on my washing machine needed replacing and I wanted a quote to replace. Was quoted a whopping $995 for a $200 part and 10 min of labor. (literally 4 screws!) A new machine costs less than $900. Just had the lid replaced for $75 total. Done in less than 10 min. NEVER, EVER use this sketch outfit. Complete rip off. Said they would text before coming which never happened, spent more time writing the $995 estimate then he spent looking at applia

There’s something oddly vulnerable about letting someone into your home to fix something that matters to your routine. These folks made it feel easy. Courteous, skilled, and respectful. My oven works again, and I didn’t feel like I had to hover or worry. That says a lot.
