This crew of carpenters is the geatest! They came on December 18, 2025, a warm day for December. They certainly could have finished in one day, however it started to rain in the early afternoon. They returned the next day to complete the job. That day was raw, cold and windy. They pressed on in spite of the weather, and were done in a short time. They used our existing supports that were old telephone poles, and reattached our wrought iron gate and railings to the new deck. The crew was quick, accurate and thorough in their work. This was our south deck. They are returning in the spring to replace our west deck.

We hired Girod Construction to put a covered handicap ramp on our front porch. Their pricing was reasonable. They communicated well on the start time of the job and finished in a timely fashion. We did have a few points where communication could have been clearer which caused our driveway to be unaccessible during the project, and the end design of the ramp to differ from what we had talked about. While the crew was friendly, I did feel like I had to repeatedly explain my wishes. However once my husband expressed our concerns the project was corrected. The structure feels sturdy and well built and over all the workmanship is good. There were initially problems with some of the shingles sticking up which the team quickly responded to and corrected. WOW! Jason, Dennis and their crew did a fabulous job! The roof was lacking proper support, shingles were worn and the soffits deteriorated. They scheduled the job and had it finished within a few days and left the property clean. Very affordable too!

Very pleased with all work performed by Girod Construction. Removed and rebuilt second story of garage, added overhangs to entire house, and installed metal roof. They were very patient with requested changes/ideas throughout the quoting process. The detail and quality of the finished product has exceeded expectations.

Girod Construction recently put on our new roof, facia, gutters, downspouts and soffits. They did a great job. Good communication and friendly personalities. Looking forward to our future projects later this summer.
