Unprofessional and unreliable. Hired them to switch my heater system from oil to natural gas. Spent about $9000 on the job. Deposit half and didnt have the job done till months later because they kept rescheduling on me. Paid the other half on the day of the installation. Days after the installation, my heater didn't work. We had no heat during the cold winter. Gil Rodrigue came to check and said there is something wrong with the part and he is ordering the new part for me. After that, he completely disappeared. He didn't return any of my calls or messages after that. After months of trying to call and text, I sent email to the company's email. Beware Gil Rodrigue of GMR Mechanical (or any other company he forms in the future) of 9 Muse Terrace, Salem, NH 03079. After installing a whole house Daikin mini-splits system in late 2022, Gil became elusive and hard to pin down when the system broke down just weeks after installation. Half the system was unusable for weeks in the dead of winter until he finally came out to get it up again, but it still didn’t run right with one head overheating a room and another not heating enough. Flash forward to summer heat, and the system was shutting down with error codes again in AC mode. I chased Gil for over three weeks during which he repeatedly failed to respond, schedule service, give me a reasonable date/time or timeframe by which service might be scheduled, show up when service was sc

Do NOT do business with Gill Rodrigue d.b.a. GMR Mechanical Services because they are UNRELIABLE. They install inferior equipment that does not do the job, they perform sloppy work and do not follow up on maintenance or warranty calls as per sales contract. Calls or email communications go un-answered. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

GMR mechanical is the most reliable and trustworthy company I’ve had services from. Great communication and will come out at any time or day, especially if you have an emergency. Also great prices 👍🏼 Hands down the best company around.

I hired this company to install an HVAC unit. They installed it in the wall and put in the power unit. I paid them for their work and he said he would be back to run the lines to hook up the unit. He never came back. I called, I texted, I left voicemails. I have heard nothing. This company is completely unreliable.
