I don't like leaving negative reviews because I am not one to complain about service, but I have to here. Last April , Gold Star replaced my hot water heater. The price was high, but I felt comfortable moving forward based on my research. Two days ago, I wasn't getting hot water, so we called Gold Star back in hoping that it was something covered by the 1 year warranty of the installation. Of course if wasn't something covered. My circulator pump needed to be replaced.....fine, it's a $200 part AT MOST. The quote to fix it was $1703!!!! It's the middle of winter, and we had come this far, so I went forward with it and actually agreed to a higher amount to have a 1 year membership to hopefully maintain other stuff (tune-ups and what not). From start to finish, the service was smooth and stress-free. They arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the job was done right. The Gold Star team live up to their name! We needed same-day service (on a Saturday) and they had technicians arrive at our house an hour later. They did a thorough investigation of a leaking plumbing line supplying a frozen outdoor spigot. Thankfully the issue was a simple fix (shutting off a valve) and did not require any unnecessary repairs. They are honest and reliable...I would trust them for any future plumbing and HVAC needs.

James and River did a great job. Hope we get them again for future service. Heating system had no oil and they couldn't service it until we filled up our tank. They came back the same day to finish the service. Can't get service like this anymore.
