Gold Star Windows and Doors

I was excited to have gold star fix our damaged window because of their insightful knowledge and approach to my repair. However what should have been a 4-6 week wait turned into me paying half of a 800.00 service to which at 4 weeks they “thought they did the repair” then informed me the window was damaged in transport and would take 2 weeks to come in which is normally correct (hmm since I already waited a month). Only to follow up 3 weeks later and they still have no answer for my window. They were so non chalant about the error, I asked for a realistic deadline or a refund. I already knew the end result less than 2 hours later a check was refunded to me .

After having been impressed with the quality of windows installation at my neighbor’s home, I requested an estimate for my home. Dennis performed a demonstration using a heat lamp, a BTU meter, a competitor’s window that had been left at my house, and their recommended window. When I saw the substantial heat-reflecting properties of his window vs the competition, I was sold. Like nearly everything else, following the hurricanes and pandemic, it took nearly 5 months for the windows to arrive, but it was worth the wait. I was so impressed with how hard Billy and William worked to remove the old and install the new windows that I fed them lunch all three days, just to show my appreciation. Very efficient installation, Billy & William were an excellent team, and the job was completed quickly and without mishap. I can not think of any better contractor job ever!

When I contacted them, they responded within 24 hrs. They inspected our apartment complex, demonstrate the windows they felt would be best for us. They have installed over 200 windows and 54 patio doors. I couldn't be happier with their service as well as the resident think the world of their crew. Great windows. Crew removed and replaced 11 windows in about 6 hours. Great job and clean up after work was completed. Better price and much faster delivery time than the other 2 companies we had contacted.
