Golden In Home Services

Don't EVER do business with this company. We had an appointment scheduled today between 8am and 12pm to have our washer serviced (HHGregg warranty) and nobody ever called or bothered to show up. We called the phone number (831-7606) and managed to go through all the menus only to go DIRECTLY to a voicemail service. We left a message and nobody has still bothered to show up or even call us back. If anyone ever suggests or schedules your service call through Golden In Home Service, refuse it. The only thing you'll get is a Golden Shower level of Customer Service.

I could ask you to allow me to give them a -5 star, yes a MINUS5! They’ve been unprofessional from the Get Go. They lied and told me that my husband gave them the wrong model and serial number. My husband has never spoken with them. Their communication is absolutely horrible. Luckily they were fired since they never showed, nor are they willing to even receive phone calls. So now the warranty company is sending me a company with a five star rating. That’s more like it. Their loss my gain. Services that have to enter your home to service appliances should have better ratings, not ratings of one star of multiple reviews by people wishing to give them less than 1 Star. Pick another company if you can.

If I could give 0 stars I would but I don't think they care how poor their reviews are. Called in for an issue withe my washer under warranty. The button was semi broken. The service man broke it the rest of the way and made my washer completely inoperable and said he'd order the panel on Monday(this was Saturday) . He didn't order the part until Tuesday. Then I didn't hear anything for 3 days when I called them back. I left 3 messages and my calls went unreturned. I finally got someone on the phone. First the guy said he was chatting the parts company UT after being on the phone with me for 10 min he didn't want to keep me any longer and he'd call me back in 5 minutes. Lowes warranty service set up appointment for problem with refrigerator with Golden In Home Services for a Thursday between 1-5. Received a call from Golden Service late Tuesday evening before appointment asking for model and serial number to confirm with parts department. Gave the rep the numbers, he put me on hold, then came back and stated parts department not responding so he would call me back in 10 minutes. No mention of the appointment, time, or scheduling. Never received call back that evening or next day. At 1pm on the Thursday (day of the appointment set by Lowes) I receive a call stating they need to confirm if any parts are needed for service. I state that I have already received a call for model and serial number confirmation and supposed to have a service rep out at the time

Let me start by saying that I usually don't write reviews but after dealing with this company I felt compelled to. To begin with, I didn't initially hire them, they were an option based on the warranty company that has them under contract.I needed service done to my GE Washer, the warranty company Warrantech scheduled Golden In Home Services to perform that service. The day I took off of work to be available for the service to be performed during the hours of 8-12 I ended up calling Golden In Home Service around 10:45 to check the status to the technician just to be told that no one will be coming to my residence. I was told by the service rep who acted like I was intruding on her Friday with my issue that I had to call and schedule with them and Warrantech does not control their schedule
