One of the best ways that I have found to determine how a business will treat its customers is how they handle small, offhand or fringe requests. I am a student at Palomar College and was looking for some small pieces of polished stone, 3 to 4 pieces (12" x 12") for a project. These guys have an incredible inventory of beautiful stone and clearly focus on working with large customers. However, when I went in and explained what I needed to Canaan, he was incredibly helpful and showed me the various offcuts that he thought might meet my needs. If they are this courteous and attentive to my admittedly small project, I think you can safely assume they will be even more so if you have a larger project. I know that I will be coming back when the need arises.
