$56 to park for four hours just so I can go to the art Institute that’s absolutely ridiculous. Plus I can’t figure out how to pay anything. They’re like pay before you leave in the lobby. Where is the lobby? How do I find my car? there are no signs and the elevator is filthy. The stairwell is filthy never ever ever again.

i booked an advanced reservation via the link provided by the chicago fine arts building website. they never sent me any kind of link or QR code. when i tried to leave, the manager and the employee acted like i was lying to them. ultimately, they called the vendor and found my reservation.

The parking garage is brightly lit and overall fine. The rating is mostly for EV chargers. They are extremely slow. You can charge on tesla charger full mileage 300 miles in 1,5 hours. Here charge was 15 miles. Why even bother installing this useless chargers? Give yourself a favor plan ahead and charge elsewhere.

How in the world is this above 4 stars?!?! It is a SCAM if you drive in you can't get out without paying $40+!!! There is absolutely no warning before driving in and you can't turn around, should be illegal!

I think Chicago city is hunger for money. I parked Grand Park South Garage for Chicago symphony on Dec. 28, 2026. When I drove out from the garage, I saw the meter say $18 dollars. Now I see the charge to my credit card is $48 dollars. The city is really hunger for money.
