Two years ago we contacted Graybar for a quote. They came over, checked what needed to be done, and I never heard back from them. Several weeks ago (March 18th) I contacted Graybar about some small metal fence repair. They were prompt in coming over and preparing a quote which I agreed to. It’s not a big job which I guess is the problem. Nothing happened until I called three weeks later to find out when the company would be doing the work. Then I told it would Thursday of last week. When I called to find out where they were, i was told Friday because the workers needed guidance. When no one showed I called and was told Monday. Monday came and no workers so I called only to find out that no one was coming over because “two workers had no shown up” but I was assured that they would be at m

We had Graybar come to house recently to replace a portion of our privacy fence and gate. They returned the estimate to me the same day they came out to quote and we were able to schedule a time for installation. We did have a slight issue after installation with a portion of the fence leaving a considerable gap between it and the ground, and I called the company to let them know. They came back out that day and repaired the problem. They were always polite and courteous and we are very happy with the work they performed.

We contacted this company to do a relatively good size job erecting 150 3x5 storage units. It took them over seven month to complete the job. The owner came to our property various times and promised the work would be done in a couple weeks. Meanwhile the workers told us they were being taken from our job to do other work instead of completing our job. These storage units were to be rented out and we had agreement s for all of them so, we lost thousands of dollars in revenue. Part of the problem was that we gave them half the money up front. I wouldn't use them to build a dog box. Liars and very unprofessional.

I had an aluminum fence that needed to be repaired because of Hurricane Matthew. After being ignored twice by the original installers of the fence over the years, I gave up on them and called other people. Graybar was very responsive and, honestly, I felt like we got a good deal on our repair (they replaced a section of the aluminum fencing). The only small gripe I had, is I had to follow-up on making sure they would be coming out, rather than them calling me and making sure. After being ignored twice by the original installers, I was a little hesitant on just waiting around and hoping someone would come out. But I feel as a fellow business owner, the business should be doing the follow-ups and check-ins ASAP. Highly recommended.

While focusing on the respect to property and owner, the attention to detail and small promises are not fulfilled. The smallest things not completed really bother me. Overall, I like the work, and the appearance. I’ve had compliments from neighbors. I’m glad to have my property properly protected. It’s truly the attention to detail, and lack of completing the small things that separate exceptional work, from just work. Just remove the possibility of personal injury that was installed by the crew. That’s all I ask.
