GRCC Parking Ramp B

Don’t park here to attend an event at GRCC Fieldhouse. Spent over half an hour waiting to exit….only one exit gate for general public.

Need better signage within the ramp, as it's very easy to lose track of where you are and that is scary for really anyone, especially women. Emergency phones on every floor though just in case. This ramp is usually full during the day so give yourself plenty of time to find parking!

This ramp feels safer than the Ransom ramp by Cook Hall. It does not have cameras that I've noticed but it is smaller and has clearer views. There is an emergency phone on each level, sadly only one, but the campus police are located on level 2. None of the GRCC ramps are well marked for levels, only at exits, which is important if you're calling about an emergency. This ramp does fill up quickly, spaces available are kept track of on the sign above the entry but I wish it was also displayed on the north and south sides so people who need to park don't make crazy maneuvers to get to the larger Ransom ramp when ramp B is full. Stuck with a mechanical error so can’t exit!!!very frustrating.

So far I have had a good experience as a first year student at GRCC parking in this ramp. It feels relatively safe and my car is safe and sound when I get back from class.
