Great Mills Trading Post

Had my driveway and carport done by this company a few years ago. Concrete started cracking up after the first year. Company rep told me to contact his sub contractor I didn't because that's not who I gave the check to. Asphalt driveway has split clean across along with other cracks. Called rep he told me to put some caulk in it. I do not recommend this company.

Three weeks ago I filled out a “contact us”form on their website. No one responded after a week, so I called them. The person I spoke with took my name and my telephone number and said somebody would call me back. I have called twice since and was told the same thing. And also left voice messages. Today I called a 3:45 and was told everyone was gone for the day. I guess no one works except the people who answer the phone.

The people at Great Mills Trading Post are rude and unprofessional! The love hanging up on people, they never return calls and their idiot truck drivers love pulling out in front of traffic at the last second! And when you call to complain, they act like they could care less which is fine I have video of their drivers acting like idiots and will be uploaded to YouTube for the police to see!

Used the Trading Post for years. They have done excavating and paving work for me. Quality work and the prices were fair. In reference to there negative reviews on Google, Trading Post has many commercial vehicles my guess is 75 plus and your bound to get multiple phone calls I know from experience I have 4 delivery trucks and I field at least 2 calls a week complaining about a rock hitting there windshield or our truck suddenly stopped. It’s not the same driving a 20,000lb vehicle as it is a car. Reaction time is needed and every car wants to get in front of a dump truck. I know Trading Post and they are a great company who gives a ton to the community. I understand the offices frustration with phone calls but I would hope these negative reviews don’t affect anyone’s opinion on using the

Well, if their truck drivers are any reflection of their work- would not recommend! I had an issue today resulting from a truck driver named "Charles Lane" (probably a fake name he gave me) Truck 172 leaving Pax River Naval Base at around 11:40 today. Charles believed it was humorous to cut off a service member at the street light leaving Gate 2. I guess I fail to see the humor in reckless driving and endangerment. Charles response, "I can do what I want". I proceeded to call the Great Mills Trading Post company who routed me to a man who called himself "Michael Davis" around 12:16. He didn't seem to grasp how a 35 ton truck cutting people off was a hazard and poor representation of the company and associates as a whole.
