Green Gardens Landscaping & Nursery

I am a delivery driver and this is my first time going to this Nursery today is April the 28th 2023. I can honestly say this was probably the best delivery I had even though I had to help take off 794 plants off my truck. The owner and his granddaughter and another young man are the most knowledgeable caring people I have ever met. And they have some beautiful trees and flowers.

My wife and I bought a new house in Rutland in January 2020. After we got settled, we decided on doing some big renovations to our new land, including (but not limited to) landscaping/seeding/brush clearing and planting both privacy and decorative trees. It ended up being a huge project. Joe was incredibly fair in his pricing. He and his team were and have been professional, personable, and dedicated in their work. We are very happy with their services and will continue to use them for any landscaping and nursery needs!

Open to the public on weekends. Very friendly and knowledgeable and take great pride in their hand cultivated trees and shrubs. Walked me around the property for 20 minutes suggesting several options to fill a space that had some limitations and requirements. It was not an easy task but they made it painless. They also have some unusually beautiful trees, a tricolor beech that they grow from clippings and mature for several years. I was most impressed both with this company and will come back for more when I'm ready for my next step.

I purchased a redbud tree in May of 2020. During the summer, I called to say that the plant was not even producing leaves. I was told, "Be patient. Redbud is the last to bloom." This year, I waited, calling in June and July to say that my year old tree was still not producing. Again I was told, "Be patient, redbud is the last to bloom. Ha ha!" In August, I called to say that the tree was obviously dead, as it has never so much as produced a leaf. Their response, "We only warranty what we install. And you never called!" BUYER BEWARE!

Very knowledgable, and spent a ton of time helping my wife and I with questions. Great prices and customer service.
