Today I hired Galen and his crew at Greencare Services to clear out last year’s leaves along the back fence and side fence edges of my property here in South St. Louis City. This wasn’t a simple rake-and-go job. The leaves needed to be raked or blown into the yard, then mowed down and mulched into the ground. The crew handled that well, and they also went beyond the original area. They cleared leaves from the landscaped front yard, the privacy area in the side yard, and even the outside basement stairs. A few leaves had blown under the fence into my next-door neighbor’s yard. I mentioned it, and they took care of it immediately. I’m genuinely pleased with their workmanship, professionalism, and how quickly they finished. This is an easy 5-star review. If I could rate them higher than 5

Hired for lawn care and they weed whacked some of our plants. Asked for a refund and after a curt reply denying it, we followed up with more pictures as proof of the damage and they gave a $5 discount out of $55. The damage done was more than the work we paid them to do. Glad to be done with them and do not recommend them.

Backyard was mostly all dirt. Got an estimate for sod and once it stopped raining and warmed up, they came out and installed. I now have a backyard full of grass. Thanks!

Non-responsive. Called to get an estimate on landscaping work & lawn maintenance in middle of March. They came out and did a survey of the property. Said they would get us a quote for lawn services within a few days to a week. Then another week or so for the landscaping project. It is now middle of April (a month later). Still no response for lawn maintenance or landscaping project. Tried to call. No answer and voicemail is full. No way to contact them. Completely unresponsive. Glad this happened before the project rather than in the middle of it. I gave up and moved on.

Unprofessional conduct: while mowing the lawn of the property next to my house, the dudes traipsed all over my property just because they could. There’s no fence between the properties and they used a riding mower to mow the fringe just above the property line, which is indicated by a stone wall that ends with the beginning of the lawn. They didn’t give it a second of thought, drove comfortably onto my lawn like it was theirs. Just more of the same from this bizarre nightmare.
