Greenscapes

I am soooo incredibly pleased with the work Nick and his team completed. They went above and beyond, extending the Boulder wall in my garden, adding drainage, and helping with overall erosion that has been severely in need of maintenance and upgrades. Thank you Nick and team, for completing the work I needed, on time, with phenomenal detail and attentiveness. I could have literally hugged each and every one of you! I am sincerely very happy and grateful for the work completed.

We live in Monticello. We needed outside steps going down to the basement area redone. We had old limestone rocks that were not level anymore and the steps were unsafe. We checked out many landscaping companies and went with Greenscapes. They installed new steps and they also replaced our old limestone wall with pre-engineered blocks with caps. Then they put in a patio. This consisted of removing a post supporting the deck above, but was also in front of our basement patio door. An engineer came out for support. With his advice and knowledge they reinforced the deck with headers above and posts at the ends. It looks so much better with the patio area opened up. The quality of the work was exceptional. I went with Greenscapes because I wanted a big reliable company, but I was so disappointed with both the work and the price! The project was delayed for multiple reasons, but I wasn't informed of the delay until the day before the start date. My edging was crooked, the patio was slanted the wrong way and the requested bushes were half the desired size! The project manager blamed me for the "lost labor time" when I wanted the problems corrected. I ended up paying 10% more than the agreed upon price. A miserable experience. I do not recommend them and will not use them again!

I am 2 years post-use of Greenscapes to do landscaping work at my home. I'm disappointed, at best. Specifically, the areas where they were to remove existing pea-gravel beds and turn them into grass, well, they still have a pea gravel there, the grass still has not grown, and what's worse, is the plastic mesh they put down over the grass seed, that they swore was made from a material that would just breakdown and decompose, IS STILL THERE 3 YEARS LATER! I will not use Greenscapes ever again, and neither should you. I give them 2 stars because there was 1 foreman who actually seemed to know what he was doing and made his crew work well; problem is, he got hurt, and didn't come back to finish the job, so I got a crew of teenagers who mostly screwed around, failed to put down enough rock in t

Scott and Nick did not respond in a timely manner for us. We had them come out to our property for an estimate. We were told that it would take a week for an estimate as we were prepared and ready to move forward. For some “strange” reason, we did not receive a call back or a response... We called to follow up and still nothing. Three weeks later, we received an email stating that they are having to pass on this project.... luckily for us, we already moved forward with another company with excellent pricing and prompt estimate in a timely manner.
