Alec was wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend him to others. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and had great communication throughout the project which included debris removal and grading. He was respectful of our property- even offering to blow off our driveway before he left. He helped us turn an area of our yard that was damaged by Helene into a place we can now have happy memories while enjoying the outdoors.

Helene left our family vacation home on the edge of a seriously undercut creekside embankment. Several companies I spoke with either were uninterested or too busy to help. One contractor would not even return calls. Grey Eagle responded quickly, assessed the situation accurately, and made a proposal. They got to work as soon as the last of the permits were cleared and finished well within the period allotted. Their work was carefully and skillfully done and restored both the stability and aesthetic of the site. Their price was very reasonable and they were prompt, skillful, and just what we needed. I thoroughly recommend them.

I highly recommend hiring Alec (Grey Eagle Grading). He was able to perform a variety of different jobs on our property for a good price. Alec is a honest, hard working 6th generation Western North Carolinian. His knowledge about the physical properties of the land and mountains is extensive. He takes extra steps to prevent future erosion and prolong the time his work will last before having to do future maintenance. My experience using Grey Eagle Grading couldn’t have been any better. Alec, the business owner, responded promptly to my request for a quote. A super nice young man knew what needed to be done and was confident in solving my water draining issue. Offered his service at what I thought was a fair price so I hired him without getting a second bid. I was so grateful he could get to my job within a week before his next big project. He did a fantastic job by bringing in two loads of fill dirt and grading it to a perfectly level sloping yard. Today, he seeded and laid down wheat straw.
