Gridley Company

Gridley remodeled our kitchen last year. They did an amazing job and we are so happy we went with them. Our kitchen was a 1972 original, tiny and dark. Gridley's team of design, planning, and construction professionals gave us a beautiful modern, full of light airy space and so much cabinet space. The kitchen is now the best-lit and warmest room in the house too. Every step of the process went well, from the designer who helped us plan the space and pick details, to the planning and deployment team, to the many skilled craftsmen it took to execute the job. The final result is just *so* nice.

Gridley beautified my home 10 years ago--painted whole interior, electrical upgrades, built ins, etc. A pleasant group of skilled craftspeople and personalities who always showed up when expected. What bugs me still to this day is that a) we paid the owner's niece designer fees of five thousand, altho she was no designer (she was in her young 20's!), b) we often found overage errors in their billing, c) the owner, a woman, was dismissive to me as the wife of the project (in our first meeting!) To their credit, they promised us they would make right anything we didn't like--even years after job completion. Bottom line: Gridley folks worked hard on site but the back office stuff was trying. Do not hesitate to speak up to them when something doesn't seem right! Final grade: A-
