I contacted Greg to do some work on my 200k mile '04 330i ZHP as I was having difficulty finding any indie shops locally that were competent and willing to do what I wanted done. Greg responded to my email request the next day and over the next week or so, we discussed the project in-depth and made arrangements to drop off and set the expectations for completion. I had provided several parts to be installed (oil pump, oil pan baffle, ATI balancer and a new SMF clutch kit) and also asked for some other items to be done in addition, (resurface and overhaul cylinder head, install Time-serts and head studs, new timing chains and guides). Greg Smith Racing is a top of notch shop for all your track car support needs and even non track cars. If you've got an E9x M3 that needs rod bearings before it goes kaboom, take it to Greg. If you need other more basic repairs or upgrades on your street car, Greg is still a great place to go. Don't be fooled that he only works on race cars. Great attention to detail and very skilled craftsman.

Greg took excellent care of my vehicle and fixed a long time issue with my SMG swapped M3. Very knowledgeable and was awesome to talk to about the addiction of cars. I have known Greg for a long time and he has worked on my E36 for most of this time. He is one of only a couple people that I trust to work on my racecar. His prices are reasonable and he is pretty accurate on estimated completion dates, but, what makes me to want to deal with Greg is his attention to detail. I have never found a mistake he made. Racers can't afford to have something go wrong because of a mistake by people working on your car. Greg is top notch.
