GTECH Center Parking

Absolutely never park in this garage. I can't believe the city is allowing this disgusting management. I drive into the garage thinking it was close to my destination, but it was not. I decided to leave the garage, but first spoke with a manager to explain my situation. The manager would not excuse the ticket charging me 8 dollars. It's not just the money, it's more the principle. Having poor managerial skills is even worse. Providence is a fun city with some great places to see. I'm not sure why the city or IGT tolerates this type of poor business practice. I too will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! It cost me 88 bucks to park from 10:30 to 7. I went for an event at the Dunkin center and then went to dinner and was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED to see the parking bill was $88, you could rent a car for that price for the day. It’s literal robbery. Disgusting!

Never, ever park here. I was leaving at 9pm on a Sunday and my parking slip was unable to be read by any machine even though it was in perfectly fine condition. Lobby was closed and there was no phone number to call. Called 911 and they said they couldn’t help because it was a private lot. Luckily someone was leaving and I went through the gate before it closed right after they swiped their card. Otherwise, I would have been stuck there. Worst parking garage I have ever experienced and it’s not close.

Do Not Park Here. It's attached to Visitor's center and $8 for 30 minutes, increasing by half hour. Park at Providence place, which is free for the first two hours, and walk across the street to center.

It may be $8 all day on the weekends but if you pay early, they make you pay again. Highway (parking lot) robbery
