Guardian Basement Waterproofing

Installed a drain tile system in basement of my city row house to address flooding issues. Highly recommend this company, they are thorough, reliable and efficient with reasonable pricing.

Avoid Guardian Basement – False Promises and Poor Customer Service Two years ago, I hired Guardian Basement to fix a water issue on the front wall of my basement. Joel came out, sold me on their system, and guaranteed I would have a dry basement. We also replaced two sump pumps and had the sump well dug deeper. The main selling point was their lifetime guarantee. Fast forward two years, and I have the exact same problem. Every time there is significant rain, water rushes through the same wall. I reached out to Guardian Basement, and Joel scheduled a time to check it out. His tone was completely different this time—defensive and dismissive. Great company, from the FREE estimate,to the completion of the job,everything was great. I like the fact they sent someone that knows exactly what they are talking about,and not just trying to sale you. I did in fact have another company come, and the guy they sent didn't really know much,just read off his tablet. The work he recommended, was nothing like what Guardian did. So I'm happy with my choice, I can enjoy my basement water freeeeeeeee. Sump pump installation

They replaced a sump pump that I wasn't convinced I needed and I still have the original issue that I called them about. Also, If you're not 100% sure that you want the work done, don't sign the proposal. According to them it becomes a contract once you do and they will not let you out of it. A forced customer is never a happy customer. I would not use them again or ever recommend them to anyone.

Joel and his crew have worked on two houses I lived in and both times the work was fantastic! I appreciate and trust Joel's thoughtful evaluation and consideration of the best approach to waterproofing my basements and his professionalism. The work itself was done in a timely and efficient manner. The best part is that my basement is dry, even after days and days of heavy rain!!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. (Julie Karp)
