Guzman's Auto AC & Heat

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. A few months ago I went because my AC wasn’t working. I spoke to the individual in charge and he checked the vehicle and stated that it would cost me $300 because it needed freon, which he said he fixed. (3) days ago I went with the same issue and he stated now it would cost me $1,200 to replace the Evaporator since it had severe damage that needed to be treated before. Mind you when I went the first time he stated he fixed a leak and that the car was good to go and no future maintenance was warranted. This dude wouldn’t even work with me after I told him if he knew the problem was going to get worse why wouldn’t he recommend me the appropriate repair instead of just charging $300. I went to Guzman's because it was near my house so it was convenient. I took it in and I told them if they could take a look at my vehicle to see why the ac wasn't working. He revised my vehicle and tells me that it's the compressor and that it's gonna be expensive to fix around $600 or $800. I was like wow, that's a lot. I told the guy that checked it that I'll return when I have the money to do it. I go to get in my vehicle and the guy says that'll be $20. I was taken aback by him charging $20 for 5 minutes of his time. I can see $5 maybe $10 but $20, like wow. Well I of course paid and decided to get a second opinion. I took to my vehicle to Treviño's on E 14t street and got there and immediately asked how much do you charge to look at my vehicle's ac? The guy says, "We don't charge fo

I brought my vehicle to this shop and was presented with two different price quotes for the same issue by the same gentleman who had assisted me before. I will not be coming back.

Guzman as always hits it out of the park with the best service and prices. Over the years he has worked on several of my cars and each time, he leaves us with our cars having cold A/C. This last one was a doozie for him however, he made good on his work and price. I will always recommend Guzman to anyone needing to have A/C work done.

Went for an estimate last time and the guy said 800 with an irritated face.Also went early so customer service isnt that good.
