Hall Well & Pump Inc

Apparently their driver doesn't know how to drive. He knew he did this and sped off when we tried to confront him. Person who answered the phone was rude, laughed and hung up. Apparently the driver was mad because he could not back out into our driveway!!!!

I have been building residential houses for over 40 years (many wells) and this is the first well company that I've come across that has no business ethics. When it was time to install the well they came out and said they needed better access (also tried to move the well location) whereas the access was just fine. Employees (driller I suppose) had a terrible attitude as if he really didn't want to do the job. Called them back days later to ask what I needed to do to prepare the site and the owner said I needed to find someone else that they were going to drill wells for sites ready and then proceeded to hang up on me. Arrived 1 1/2 hours after we called with our problem (non-functioning pump). Courteous, intelligent service. NOT of the "rip and replace" mentality, he actually fixed my pump (but came prepared for any eventuality.) Cost was extremely reasonable. Our experience with Hall could not have been better--I would highly recommend!!!

Beware of the line in the contract that says they don’t come back to fill areas left open for inspection. This is a complete bate and switch. They left roughly 150’ of the 200’ trench they dug open. In Spotsylvania county they only need to leave a portion at the house, well and small area in between open for inspection. If that had been done we could have back filled by hand. However, with the length of the ditch that was left open we had to hire someone to come in and backfill behind them! This was additional cost that wasn’t budgeted for.
