Hallandale Concrete

I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but after the incredible job Leo and his crew did, I just had to share. From the moment Leo came to my house and took the time to walk me through every detail and explain the process, I knew I was in good hands. His crew was not only skilled and hardworking, they were kind and respectful the whole way through. Im still amazed and couldn't be happier with how it looks. Just look at this picture... I’m genuinely proud of it. It feels amazing to say I have the best looking driveway in my neighborhood.

I contacted Leonardo Gamon Andoba with Hallandale Concrete LLC on June 16, 2022 to demolish my existing driveway and walkway and replace with stamped concrete. The price was quoted quickly, accepted, and work began on Tuesday, June 21st. Initially, I was very pleased with the work, but I noticed some issues right away. On Wednesday, June 22, I contacted Leonardo to alert him of the following issues with the job: • ISSUE #1: The workers placed a wood border up against my garage door and poured the concrete up to wood. The workers were supposed to pour the concrete up to the edge of the garage floor which would have required me to open the garage door. Because I was not home at the time and no one called me to make me aware of the need to open the garage, the workers decided to improvise. T

I requested a quote from them and they came out right away and gave me a price. I was happy with the price and scheduled a date for them to pour the concrete. The day they came out, the weather called for rain and I questioned them about the rain and they said it will no problem it will only need a couple hours to be fine when if it rained. So they started to pour the concrete and they had to get a new truck to finish. By the time the new truck came out it started to rain and I asked them to finish pouring another day but they insisted it will be fine. So since they decided to try and finish while it was raining they ended up staying until the evening when there was no sun out trying to fix the issues the rain caused from the roof spilling water on the new concrete. Contracted Hallandale Concrete for a 3FT walkway around home, workers were punctual and started job right away. The issue was that the walkway was too high running into back of the home on both sides, now the gates don’t close. You would think this is something they’ve seen before but unfortunately they didn’t see it on my job - prior to pouring the concrete. No resolution given by the lead worker Now I’m stuck having to repair gates on both sides of my house. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Leo is very reliable, honest and hardworking. Finished driveway in 3 days. Show up early and on time with crew and completed each phase until the job was done. Cleaned up after they were done. I highly recommend this company.
