I would give Fishers Utilities a 0/5 if I could. Purchased a new home and the previous owner was 3 months behind on their utilities. Customer service says the bill follow the new owner if an assessment isnt done by the title company, which is fine but dont go after me go after the title company or the previous owner, not the new owner They are just trying to save themselves from writing off payments to bad debt. This law needs to change and im going to do everything in my power to get this law changed with any means necessary, even if i have to start my own utility company and run them out of business. They have the worst customer service i have ever delt with, 30 minute or longer hold times even if i call right when they open, it takes 10 minutes to go through their stupid robo prompts.

What a joke... this website looks like it was designed by a middle schooler. Won't validate my account to allow online access to view and pay bills. and the only solution is to email some random 3rd party bill pay service. I really hope Citizens acquires them. Much better experience with Citizens previously. There's no way I'm giving them authorization to auto draft my bank account when this is the level of organization and efficiency.

Terrible website, charge way too much for this service and do not have a way to do auto payments. They also charge you extra to pay online with a credit card but do not have a way to pay direct from a bank for free. Yes we understand that it costs a company to use credit cards BUT they also save money by not having to mail physical paper work to customers. I can guarantee the cost to pay a human to send letters as well as the cost of postage is more than the fee of the credit card company. Just a slap in the face for an already terrible online experience. I can only imagine what the costumer service is like if you actually need them. Horrible experience. No auto payments, steep fees. Get sent a lovely collector’s letter about outgoing fees owed. Told them that I sold my house in May 2021, lady said she would fix the service charges but never did. Kept getting charge and now threatened to being sent to collections. Tried calling but difficult to get ahold of someone.

It is 2018 and they do not have a way to set up automatic payments online. I asked if they could create that and was told "yeah, well I hear that 25 times a day." If you have 25 customers a day making the same complaint maybe you should do something about it. You charge a ludicrous amount every month for sewer access. Maybe apply some of the absurd profits to developing a website a step up from a teenager's Geocities website from 1998.
