My earlier review generated a response from Mr. Nick Abel, a general manager. He acknowledged that some mistakes were made and graciously offered to correct them on any future work. Apology accepted. I was harsh in my criticism and thats on me. After our conversation, I'm confident our next project will proceed smoothly.

As a general contractor from the south, I've dealt mostly with bulk outlets providing my construction needs. Hammond Lumber has truly blown them away with quality and service. Above all , Gary Olsen impressed me with his knowledge, ability to adapt, and alter for my overall best interests! On top of that, he went out of his way to ensure I promptly received everything I needed!

Vested employees that care and actually know what they’re talking about matched to great products with same day delivery. Unconditionally and with reservation I’d highly recommend this family owned Maine based company to anyone. Or go to your box retailer and battle your way though unknowable employees, load your own cart, struggle to load what you bought in a truck all in the name of perceiving you saved a buck. Hammond comes though before and after the sale every time!
