Hancock & Son Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning

Called Hancock and Son to address an issue I had with my well pump bladder. I had a few other companies give an estimate and I thought I would be paying an extreme amount to have the tank replaced. I figured I would try one more place to make sure the prices I had received to complete the work were reasonable. Long story short, they came in at $1,500 cheaper than the others and the materials they were using were higher quality. One company wanted me to switch from my existing 36 gallon tank and go with a 20 gallon tank because that was the “standard” for a house. The technician that came out and completed the work, Jayson White, was very professional and thorough. I had no worries leaving him alone at my home while we had to run out for a birthday party. Dillon was extremely helpful with helping us figure out that we needed to shut off the main water valve to the house. When my mother did not know where that was, he patiently explained how to find and turn off the circuit breaker. Herman was the technician who came to the house and repaired the busted frozen pipe. He was very helpful as he explained everything and completed the job in a timely manner. He was also kind in making sure that we knew where the main water valve to the house is located.

They showed up saw what was needed provided a detailed quote I signed and they completed the work. It makes it so much easier knowing they can let theirselves in do their work and secure the house the best part is I get multiple pictures before and after of the work and videos of them locking the house back up. We use Hancock for all our plumbing needs-which seem to be many. They are the best hands down. Professional, kind, prompt, and most importantly…good. They stand by their work. Every employee we’ve ever met is top notch. Can’t recommend them enough.

Not as happy with the work as i hoped to be. The tech had an issue with one of his repairs and it led to water spraying all over the crawl space. He put the "T" and guage on crooked so the guage is aimed downward. The drain valve is litterally touching the ground so you could not put a hose on it if you wanted to. Also, he shredded some of my insulation and then left it hanging. Im glad i have my water on, but the work was sloppy. Ive been down in the crawl space recently, so i know what condition it was in before. Update: Hancock and son have been very responsive and professional. They have corrected every issue and have really gone above and beyond to make things right. I am impressed by the customer service and for that i am changing my rating to reflect.
