Handy Mandy SD

I went back and fourth on how to rate Handy Mandy, because ultimately the job got done, but to say I was unimpressed would be a severe understatement. Typically I would fix minor issues like this myself, but I had just moved the previous week and was unable to be there. The black PVC in the top of the first photo had developed a pinhole leak. The red shut off handle below was to be removed due to no longer being in use, and the PVC going into the house needed to remain. All that was needed was the black elbow removed, the T removed from the center and replaced with an elbow connected to the new elbow at the top, with all PVC below being eliminated. This project took 3.5 hours, used for more elbows that necessary, and frankly looks worse than it already did, granted the picture shows a nice

Handy Mandy is a wonderful handy-woman. She fixed some plumbing, she painted posts on my patio, she repaired a small wooden door to my crawl space, she fixed an inside door latch, she fixed broken fluorescent light fixtures, she replaced a regular overhead light fixture, and she put together two CD shelving units. She is friendly and knowledgeable. She shows up on time and works until the job is done. I will call her again when I need something repaired.

We own a recently vacated commercial building, and Sylvia has been invaluable in helping to protect the building from vandalism. She has been available with short notice to respond to any emergency situation that has arisen and has resolved those situations successfully. Can't say enough about the professionalism and attention she gives to any project she is given.

She is excellent! Whether rehabing a ceiling fan or configuring a drip system around a tree, she is thorough and explains the whole project ahead of time. Extremely reliable.
