I have a reputation for being hard to please, I can admit it. When I can't do something myself, I look long and hard at the work I am contracting out and can become quite critical if not done well. That's just who I am these days. So when I realized that safely dropping a 50' Fir growing in my drain field was beyond my ken, I did the usual of getting bids and reviewing the companies. I chose Hanks Tree Service and have not regretted a moment of that choice. This is a family operation and I like that. Heather was my initial contact, she was pleasant and clear in our conversations to determine the scope of the project. Hank was cordial and competent, willing to fully answer my questions and concerns and put forth a reasonable bid. On the day of the felling they said they would be there at 8:

Hank and his son did an amazing job cutting down a tall pine that was too close to an out building. I watched as they carefully took sections off the tree without damaging any buildings, plants, or septic drain field. The cleaned up after the tree was down and even moved a big log into place for us. The were skilled, professional, and very pleasant!

Great folks. Very timely. Came by, gave quote. Listened well to our needs. Set date to do the work. Came on time on the scheduled day. Did a great job and made good decisions on talking to us while the job was bring done as needed. We have used them several times for pressure washing, window and screen cleaning, solar panel cleaning, taking trees out and some major pruning. Would use them again without hesitation.

Had three trees taken down and piled for my clean up. High level of skill . Fair cost , will be using again in future.
