End of November and John sent a crew we had worked with before. AGAIN, on time, on budget, on QUALITY! 2 trees removed, 1 planted, the largest Madrone on Whidbey trimmed. Great crew. Great results. Thank you.

I had used Hansleman Enterprises (Hansleman Tree & Landscaping) a couple years ago to deal with some trees which had to be removed following PSE's contractor severely cutting them away from the power lines. John and his crew were fantastic and cleared the remaining trees exactly as I wanted! When I was faced with a significant drainage issue this year in my backyard, I called John Hansleman again. John came out and reviewed my situation and to my supprise, suggested a solution that was more simple and less expensive than what I had envisioned. I was overthinking the situation. His crew came out when promised, went to work clearing, trenching, prepping, grading and sculpting the yard. We changed some things "on the fly" when needed as the project moved ahead. Showed up on time. Very professional crew worked very well together. Did a great job dropping trees and cleaning up mess. I recommend them highly.

John Hanselman came out and gave us a quote a couple months ago. He was obviously very knowledgeable about trees. We scheduled them and they did the work last week. Dan ran the crew and everyone did a fantastic job. They removed several huge trees and cleared dead branches/thinned several others. They did a great job not damaging anything around the trees and cleaning up the mess. I highly recommend them!!! Update a few months later: John told me a particular tree didn't need to be removed because it would fall in a safe direction (the NE). I told him our strong winds always come from the west, so wouldn't the tree fall east? He looked at the tree and said no, it's going to fall NE. We had 5.5 inches of rain over the last month and then 60 mph gusts from the west, and that tree just fell

Took about 2 months to actually get service schedule. They showed up almost an hour early with no communication. Then about 2 hours into the job they leave. They let me know, but won't reschedule or even give me a time frame to come back and finish the job. Extremely frustrating especially since I said the job needs to be completed before ti go to night shift soon. With how the lack of communication and difficulty scheduling, highly unlikely that it will actually get completed before I go to nights and have to sleep during the day.
